kayaks

I have been at my new job for 5 days so far. I lead my own groups around this channel looking at the glacier and getting pretty close to some bald eagles. Two days ago, the president of the company came out to do some safety training and I was officially promoted to lead guide. HA! After 4 days in a kayak I am in charge of things! Here are the things that I can't do:
1. I dont have a car or bike so I actually can't get to the site where we kayak without someone picking me up
2. I can't back up a truck, let alone a big one with 16 kayaks attached to the back on a trailer
3. I can't drive stick, so most of the company vehicles I can't drive
4. I'm really bad at docking a motor boat and we have one that goes out and follows the kayaks to make sure nothing happens to anyone.
5. I can't make the best tips cause I am not from juneau and i went to princeton. No one thinks I need money! haha

The only thing that I can do it be nice, smile, and kayak around. BUT since I'm over 21 and am here all season, I got the job!

I'm writing this to you at 2:30 pm knowing that I have to work at 4 and there is no one to pick me up from my house and I can't get ahold of the other girl I am working with cause she dropped her cell phone in the port-a-potty! Thats funny to me...
